The 2008 Harley Softail Deluxe started out candy apple red and is my first bike. But after two years of riding I was mesmerized by all the beautiful custom bikes out there, and I wanted to do something to make mine unique. I had been getting involved with the breast and ovarian cancer fundraising charity ride Mothers-For-Daughters.com and my eyes were opened to how many people - both men and women - who have had their lives affected by these cancers. I wanted my bike to be a tribute to them while raising awareness of these diseases.
I sent the tins out across the country to be painted in a pink and white tribal theme and started picking out parts to make my machine a one-of-a-kind. I researched for months in hdforums.com, asking everyone all sorts of questions and getting some great advice and suggestions.
Since the bike was already apart, I had the heads sent out to have them diamond cut. I also had the gauge customized with a screen printed pink ribbon. When the bike with all its new paint and parts was put back together, I hand-blinged it with over 1,500 pink and white crystals. There are five crystal breast cancer ribbons in various places, and it's fun to watch people looking to see if they can find them all.
Some of the mods:
Wheels: Ride Wright Twistas
Pipes: Samson True Dual Rolled Edge
Floorboards & Saddlebag Latches: Sinister Gnarly
Grips, Shifter Peg, & Passenger Pegs: SMT Machining
Heart Horn Cover: Chrome Dome
Diamond Cut Engine: Diamond-Heads.com
Custom Crystal Blinging: HelmetBling.com
But one thing was still missing: a beautiful seat that would compliment the bike and finish it off. I turned to Bitchin Seats for the task.
After numerous design ideas were considered and discussed, we settled on a black stingray seat with a pink stingray inlaid breast cancer ribbon. Bitchin Seats made the seat custom to my bike's measurements and the day it arrived I knew it was the final piece to my bike project. It perfectly complements the bike's theme and the black glistening stringray is a beautiful way to offset the pink and white paint while still tying into the bike's theme with the inlaid ribbon.
One week after the seat was put on, the bike won Best of Show at the largest bike rally in the U.S. - Americade 2013.

We love to do projects for a great cause and this is one that hits home for Bitchin Seats as many of our employes have been very close to this cause. This has was also big for the owner of Bitchin Seats (Bitchin Rich) as his mother is a strong breast cancer survivor. Read below to find out more about this bike.
