Our September release will start with the V-Rod Muscle, to follow soon after will be 2007 to 2015 V-Rod and Nightrod Special models. The all new BSC Muscle Road Racer Conversion Kit has the slick design characteristics of a Café Racer. Rich (owner of BSC), sculpted this prototype with some simple facts in mind, “To create a Bad Ass, solo rider seat and fender conversion kit that will allow perfect positioning and extreme control of the bike while maintaining a better than Stock, OEM look”. This new BSC Muscle Road Racer design will allow us to make the seating position at least 1” lower in the saddle and up to 4” back if needed. The BSC Road Racer Conversion Kits are designed for simple installation minus the “ Chop Up Your Bike Mentality”. That’s right, no cutting, grinding, welding, sniping soldering or painting. The Road Racer fender utilizes the stock taillight system as seen in these photos. Notice the top of the rear fender profile is taller than stock F-Model tail sections, and that the forward position has been cut back approximately 2” allowing more room for the custom BSC seat positioning. Perfect seating for all you riders over 6’ tall. Now there is no reason to feeling cooped up on your bike. Suddenly the bars and foot controls aren’t in such a bad position. But no worries for you shorter riders, our seats are custom made to fit and we will simply make it to your specs. Our custom seat department can move you as far forward, and as low as you need, and we can make the seat as lean in the leg are as necessary to allow you to reach the ground and your forward controls. The prototype seat in the photo was positioned 3” back and 1” lower ( probably the most desired seat position for this kit) . This picture is a perfect example of what a seat would look like if a rider 5’10” to 6” foot tall would order the Muscle Road Racer Kit from BSC. The BSC Muscle Road Racer Kit is built right here in Southern California. This kit has been road tested and proven to be tuff, reliable and effective. Just roll back on the throttle and let her through you back in to that Bitchin Seat. You will then appreciate the positive support, comfort and control that only Bitchin Seat Company can make custom for you. The BSC Muscle Road Racer Kit will be available in the next 2 months, mid-November 2014, So get ready to order it for your early religious holiday, birthday, or happy to still be "kicking it", present to your selves. Another great looking bike with one of our Custom seats on it. This is a VRSCF V-Rod Muscle featuring a seat that is built with comfort in mind for the passenger. This seat also shows how a "push forward" seat looks for guys that want to get up closer to the bars and foot controls. The V-Rod Custom Seat also has upgraded Bull Hide through the center of the seat. Well the verdict is in from the wife. She agreed with me that your seat is far superior to the stock. We have now had time to get some rides in and she has not complained once. Your seat makes a bike that is not really meant for 2 up riding and makes it possible. I will not lie and say she likes it as good as my Road King, which I need to talk to you about a seat for that, but she will not turn down going out for a ride if I am taking the Vrod. That might be a bad thing. Anyway thanks again for a fantastic job. This month's bike feature is unique, special, and something that will make you realize how awesome our "Biker Family" truly is. Read below to have a little insight on someone who makes our world a better place! When I first lost my arm and leg to an IED blast while serving in the Marine Corps, I figured riding a motorcycle was never going to happen. A year or so after my injury I decided I might as well give it a try thinking “what’s the worst that could happen?” I borrowed a friend’s Sportster as a proof of concept and installed an EFM Auto Clutch, which was just enough for me to ride. After a bunch of practice I was confident in my riding abilities and decided to get my own bike. From Russell from Essex, United Kingdom Just a short note to confirm that the seat arrived in pristine condition and was installed in 20 mins without a single glitch or issue. This may be something to consider if you are a V Rod owner and looking for a spring project... A few of our customers have done this fender change on their standard V Rods and Laurent from France did this as well. He has a V Rod Night Rod and made the change to a Muscle fender. The bike turned out great, Laurent. Well done! BSC custom built the seat in our facility without needing a demo bike for fitment. This seat fits the tank of the V Rod Night Rod as well as the new V Rod Muscle fender.
This is a long time coming and we apologize it took us a while to load this up for you guys to look at. This video shows the A Frame Hinge in detail, completed with the final seat that was featured as our Bike of The Month for January 2013. Check it out below The A Frame Hinge is now available for all VRSC models. Check out the video below for a small sneak peek of what we have been up to. |
