This is a 2012 Softail Deluxe, it has been upgraded to the MAX and totally modified from the engine up. Don from American V-Twin, local to us in Temecula California, Transformed this bike into what you see. Once Don and his crew completes the custom builds, he rides the bike over to us while sitting on a couple of folded up shop towels, then BSC takes over. The seat, tank filler panel and rear fender filler panel are all custom tailored specifically to the owners taste and needs. The seating is low and lean unlike the typical stock frumpy style seats that come on the Deluxe from the factory. The owner Jeff wanted to lose the chrome grab rail style that is on the stock seat and make this a solo rider bike by eliminating the pillion pad as well. The rear fender filler panel design is sleek and finishes off the bike but has a purpose as well, it covers the several holes in the fender that the luggage rack bolts to that doubles as a rear pillion seat mount. With all these changes we couldn’t leave the stock basket weave tank filler on it so we built a custom to match the rest of the project. Once the hand laid up molded fiberglass pans were made and the foam shaping was done, Rich sketched out some simple inlay designs on the panels and had Don and Jeff over for a morning chat about the design, leather, and styling of the covers. After looking over several exotic skins we decided to go with our smooth finish calf skin with limited grain for the outer edges and a beautiful Mako shark skin for the center inlays. This is one tough Deluxe!
Pricing and options. The seat and the 2 filler panels with Mako Shark inlays total cost $3999.00 This same seat style with Bull Shoulder inlays would cost $3550.00 This same seat style in all cow hide, no inlay work would cost $2000.00 Call or email us for other design ideas and pricing.

From Stephan... Rich, perfect fit We love to do projects for a great cause and this is one that hits home for Bitchin Seats as many of our employes have been very close to this cause. This has was also big for the owner of Bitchin Seats (Bitchin Rich) as his mother is a strong breast cancer survivor. Read below to find out more about this bike. From Peg in Massachusetts: The 2008 Harley Softail Deluxe started out candy apple red and is my first bike. But after two years of riding I was mesmerized by all the beautiful custom bikes out there, and I wanted to do something to make mine unique. I had been getting involved with the breast and ovarian cancer fundraising charity ride Mothers-For-Daughters.com and my eyes were opened to how many people - both men and women - who have had their lives affected by these cancers. I wanted my bike to be a tribute to them while raising awareness of these diseases. |
